• Find the cornerstones with the dates for the building of  both the old library and new addition.
• Add the two numbers together. 
• Move the decimal point once to the left.
• Now look up the Dewey number for Ripley’s Believe It or Not.

• Add that number to your current number.
• Find a book in the Children’s Room with that exact number.
• Find out how many pages are in that book.
• Multiply the number of pages by 3.
• That will give you another call number.
• Our letterbox will be found in the Adult Reference section under that number.
• Have fun!

We've added a second box!  Here are the clues:

1. Find the Children's World Book Encyclopedia

2. Go the entry in Volume 8, page 188.

3. There you will find information about an author.

4. In the first column, under information about the author's work,

     the second title listed is the title on our letterbox, on our shelf, (could be in a number of different places,

     use the catalog to find out where.)

5.  Replace our letterbox carefully back in its right place.

6.  HAVE FUN!!!
